Yeah, about 8-9 ppl turned up today. You know what? We really need to change the itinerary. Yep, first few hours or so were spent once again sitting on the floor in Orchard MRT (Our regular spot, no doubt!) But ah well, as Shawn says, "Changing the venue will disrupt our tradition." Right... :p You don't wanna know how long it took till we settled on where to eat.

Anyway, we ended up in Yoshinoya! Yay Yoshinoya! I just like the artwork they have in their outlets...*ahem* Yes I'll stop digressing now...just maybe...

Most "on" award goes to Yvonne this time for agreeing and coming down on a seconds-prior notice of the meet-up (You really need to get a handphone, heh). And for the record I wanna state I've officially redeemed myself from forgetting/waking up late on the last or second-last get-together we had. You know, the one where I woke up to Tim frantically asking where I was on the phone. Heh, deja vu from the last days at PGP eh? Remember Alvin and co. banging on my door trying to get me to wake up. I like my sleep, so sue me. :p Anyway, was the first on the scene this time *beams* so yeah in my book I'm cleared hahahaha.... Heard what you guys did to Tim when he was late (During the one meeting I've missed so far I think..) with the "Amazing Race" thing. Heh, man I'll just say that's really an added incentive never to be late again for future get-togethers yeah? Kudos to you guys for creativity but you're one tough crowd to please... :p

A whole lotta time was spent there reminiscing our Pre-U Sem days (Interspersed with stoning too yeah but we'll leave that little bit out, shall we?) and lamenting/laughing over NS-related issues. Ask Pradip about his army stories, hehe, interesting stuff.
Yeah and what did I say about the itinerary? Guess where we went next... Neoprints! Yah Hwee joined us after our first batch so we went for two rounds in total! Man, this frenetic picture-taking stuff is stressful... Good thing the pics came out nice! :) Now I can replace the faded batch in my wallet hehe.
And that's pretty much it. Other than the fact that the group dwindled in number a couple times before everyone finally split up at about evening-ish. Let's do this again sometime! Hahaha!
Okay okay, enough droning from me... Yes, I'm long-winded. I'm getting old. :p

geez though the tagboard has seen lots of action, no one bothers to update this blog here... helloo so obvious that our last entry has been 2 months ago? haha time to start updating guys! before the majority of us don't have time anymore from next year onwards...

Anyway i'm so sorry i could not go with you all for the gathering on saturday. i had a CCA meeting already planned for and my dad was sick so i had to rush home anyway. hope you guys will understand. erm could anyone who went that day just post something up here to share with everyone about the gathering? i'd love to hear what went on that day...

on a separate topic, im on my sch's art club exco n we're trying to hold a few events late oct-ish. trouble is, e art club's pretty much synonymous w aep ppl only n we've been v low-key till now up 2 e extent tt e sch wanted 2 cancel e cca last yr. as such, we neither have e experience of organising such an event nor much funds to do so. some things we're planning to do include an arts week, arts carnival and a rock concert(not v 'arty' i know but it'll help w e publicity n appeal) to kick it all off. much of e details r quite sketchy atm, but since we're gonna try n get bands fr other jc's as well as just as spectators etc i thought id ask u guys if any of u would b interested 2 participate/recommend bands/help w publicity 4 e event within ur respective jc's? since nyjc's well-known 4 its good aep standard, we're kinda trying 2 bring tt over 2 e art club n revive e cca. thx in advance for any help! :D

Well trust stupid me to think of this just after khin flew off to USA. boy i'll miss her... i guess we all will. for all the time that i've known her, i find her to be cheery even in her situation, and she's a real mature thinker but still manages to infuse her unique childishness into her behaviour. a true exmplification of naughty but really nice. i really enjoyed her company while it lasted in pre-u sem, and i sure appreciated it when she and sheng jie kept me company while i was in my room on the last night of pre-u sem talking to myself... argh that was so embarrassing... but a really dear memory nonetheless. reminiscing abt that moment always makes me break into a smile. because then, she was there. for now, the most we have to be content with is the smiley face on the screen of a computer monitor.

i just hope that her aunt's computer isn't as shitty as she said it would be, and even if it is, i sure hope she can find some way of contacting us soon.

Small Outing...

(T_T) So sad, saturday so many ppl cannot make it then only me, Ying Hui, Shiva and Nyien Nyien turned up. Oh well, first i waited so long but nobody came so i thought of going home but then i scared got some ppl turn up later so i stay... Then Shiva and Ying turned up. So we were discussing where to eat then Shiva suggested Pastamania but Ying didnt want so we ended up just walking around... Typically us sia... Then walk walk walk until Taka food court then we found out they were having Food Festival so go and look see. So many things to eat! =) But for some wierd reason got so many durian stuff... fried durian, durian dumplings, some ppl really got wierd taste... Anyway so the 3 of us ended up talking rubbish on the steps again while having lunch. Then Shiva went off to get something and when she came back got 5 missed calls! Nyien^2 called to say tt she was here but took sooo long to get here... Haha, it was so funny 3 ppl in diff JC uni and 1 in casual clothes. More aimless talking then we went to Mac's to talk even more... Then Nyien said tt she learned how to read palms so we all had our palms read, lol... Then all had to go off because of stuff... Oh well, i hav a casualty list if u wanna know...

Hi guys! Seems like few ppl blog here liao... Must be busy celebrating after exams. Really can't wait for saturday then can see all you guys again. Miss you all!

Actually came here to share something quite interesting too. Well, today I had choir practice and they were giving out new scores to learn for our seniors' farewell. But guess what's one of the songs that we're learning? Yup, it's what you're listening to now. The Lion Sleeps Tonight. I was so shocked and yet happy. So if you guys really want to sing it in SATB then can come look for me for the score. Hehe... Btw, I got transferred to Tenor... But it's fun there.

Alvin's b'day meeting. last chapter. Wheelock place + BK...

yo! this's what happened during e last section of today's 'gathering'. after cineleisure we went to wheelock place 3rd lv again to play (expectedly) murderer! seems its becoming e out-of-NUS equivalent of MPH :) anyway, no Shawn did not sit on e table n get caught by guards this time. for some reason, e murderers were v successful this time winning 2 rounds consecutively or smtg like tt. during one of e rounds when v few ppl were left, yoke had e deciding vote on who to eliminate. man...she took like all of five minutes to decide! gary n yah hui were putting up xuan-worthy acts of innocence (well...almost) n she couldnt make up her mind :P haha, in e end she even made e wrong choice too! whoa, our games of murderer r getting more tense now...not sure who 2 believe anymore.

we left wheelock place for dinner but alvin had 2 leave about then so we came up w some lame stuff 2 do b4 he left: this included making him pose on 1 of those coloured lion statue things along orchard road. (pics should b up soon courtesy of tim, thx man!) wouldnt have been so bad....'cept tt e lion was pink in colour w heart motifs! so...er-hem!...yeah...its quite funny! :D (ouch....remind me NEVER 2 give my b'day 2 any of u ppl! harmless info in dangerous hands, tt! so happy my b'day's already over this yr! ^^b) lol, yeah alvin left soon after. gotta commend him though. we put him through a lotta embarrasing stuff 2day 2 'celebrate' his b'day but he put up w all e 'nonsense', good sport indeed!

went on 2 have dinner at burger king cause some person was giving out coupons 4 their meals earlier on (lol, didnt think those coupons actually worked so well, but hey!) okok, BK, so what? well, 1st prad n tim played some 'exothermic rxn' thing 2 gary, which ended up getting his hands covered in chilli sauce(if curious, ask one of em 2 show u. im sure they'll b happy 2 oblige, hehe *cue malicious snigger* actually i didnt know what they were gonna do as well but good thing i kept my mouth shut so gary was e only 'victim' :P) later, gary got his revenge though due 2 his quick reflexes resulting in prad getting his own hands covered in condiments O.o

now on 2 e main attraction...SOMEONE had e bright idea of playing truth or dare after e meal. haha, most of e ppl chose 2 do truths cause dares in e middle of orchard rd BK wouldnt b e most inconspicuous of places....truths included 'which part of **** would u lick?' and 'who would u propose to?'. a few dares were given too. shawn did a public intro of himself in BK n yah hui went up 2 e counter n actually asked 4 hainanese chicken rice!! best thing is tt there was actually quite a long queue so... yeah n when it got down 2 like e last 3 ppl, we did 'oyahpeyahsom' n i was e odd 1 out so i had 2 do e last dare >_< argh! my attempts at bargaining to change e dare into 2, 3, even 5 thruths were ignored! *weep* my hands were cold n i think i could even c a slight bluish tinge 2 my fingernails! i want immunity fr e next publicly-humiliating forfeit i get! lol, j/k. anyway, my dare was 2 hold my ipod n dance in front of wheelock place, like in e ads. slight prob though, i dont watch tv so i dunno what in e world e ads look like (yesyes, i really dont watch tv. im glued 2 my com...) and i cant dance either so i was kinda stuck... *at this pt i would like 2 apologize 4 me being so reluctant 2 go through w e dare. minasan, gommenasai ne! m(_ _)m regardless of e concerns ive just mentioned, im sure e others doing their dares had probs w em as well n its prolly just me who wasnt ready 2 go all-out n stuff. yeah, i was nervous, embarrassed at e time. for e past 10yrs of my life ive been v much introverted. i practically spoke 2 like all of 1 person during 2ndary sch so yeah it was quite a big leap 2 go through w e dare i was given, also y i would have preferred truth much more.* in e end e grp let me change my dare slightly 2 my orientation dance (or what lil of it was left in my fragmented memory anyway :P) so i did tt. looking back now though, i think its actually a good thing i was given e dare. e reason i chose 2 b an OGL and 2 b in pre u sem was cause i realised i needed 2 b more outgoing. n i think what happened this day brings me a step closer 2 tt so thx guys! arigatou!

Supposed to meet at 1pm at Orchard Mrt.. and as usual without Hui min.. we were slow to act and only dragged ourselves out of the MRT like ... dunno at wat donkey hour.. lol. all the "Go where and wat to eat.." haha.. us without someone to guide. -___-"

Anyhow, we settled at the PastaMania at Cine.then all the fiasco abt..what kind of pasta...the linguini, Penne..."cheemalogy" la. You should have been there, it was chaos! Imagine this, 11 people ordering different types of pasta of different flavours! Then came the drinks, the cutlery, the seating arrangement. Phew. When the food finally came =) we ate and ate.. Kinda reminds you of the pre u sem days doesn’t it? Frankly, I (Shawn) was still kinda hungry when I had finished my pasta. Haha.. then Glynis called... and Alvin has to make THOSE noises..-__-" haha.. The funny thing was that Alvin actually took the phone from Yah Hwee to talk to Glynis and ask her if she heard the weird sounds in the background. Guess she said she didn’t hear it. Bad idea! Coz next thing we knew, Alvin was moaning to her over the phone. Wonder how she must have felt. damn funny! then hm... we kinda wanted to check out K box.. to see if there are cheaper packages that can "accomodate" all of us.Btw.. forgot to say..Yah Hwee, Nyein^2, Ying Hui, Alvin, Pradip, Gary, William , Timothy, Shawn (Hui Min joined later) and me.. i am Yoke~! hm.. then I (Yoke) got.. "lost" coz none of them wanted to answer my call.. then luckily i saw Pradip, Shawn and Gary while wondering abt aimlessly. haha.. there goes there evil modus operandi to sabo me like what they did to Xuan at Kino. Phew~ hm.. din go to k box.. coz most of us think it's not worth the $..and well.. time? Yeah it was like 12 bucks a head for us to sing for 5 hours. I know we pre u sem people sing a lot but 5 hours? Woah…

so..i think .. at least wat i remember.. erm.. some of us (Yah Hwee, Nyein^2, William and of course, Alvin stayed back outside kbox.. while the rest went to buy Alvin's present. i THink it was a M&M filled condom...GROSS~! lol..well.. din really get to see it clearly coz i guess Pradip was quite embarassed to show it to us "openly" and Alvin was kinda like... "OH NO..OH NO." i think he kinda shoved it into his bag before anyone could take a good look. Bless him!

*Lemme (Shawn) explain how the process of stuffing the m n ms into the condom happened. We (Prad, Gary and I) went to the cheers at cine to buy the condoms and chocolate. We were actually kind embarrassed and they actually got me to stand next to prad while we were queuing for to pay. How gay must that have looked! When we finally got the stuff we went back to meet the rest but we hadn’t put the m n ms into the condom yet. We were standing outside the toilet giggling like crazy when prad took it out and found out it was actually slippery coz of the spermicide on it. To think, we were going to get Alvin to eat the m n ms. Haha! Then, we went into the toilet to wash it. When it finally got to the stuffing of m n ms, me and prad actually got into the same cubicle to do it coz we were too paisehed, there were people outside. Both of us were giggling and I dropped the chocolates on the floor. Basically, the if you stood outside the toilet and heard the noises we made, you’d be totally grossed out!*

wait!!....the condom part isnt over yet! hahahha....must explain in more detail. Btw prad here. Ok u know what more hap;pened at the cashier?? shawn and i were queing to pay and our turn finally came. and i had to gather all my guts and ask the woman for the cheapest condoms..and this meena (malay) cashier was sooo shy!. hahaha and so was i larh. but what to do. so they pointed at one. and i said ok. but she didnt ring it up!. so we ended up only paying for the m&ms. and i was there like...oh shit...i have to ask a second time. so i went, "err..excuse me, but i wanted to buy those condoms"..oh man!...and yinghui and gary cldnt stop laughing. and my gay partner shawn ditched me!. U didnt come to my aid...grrr...haha nvm its okie...and then the cashier stuffed the condoms and receipt into the bag. she seemed more anxious to get the transaction over and done with then me. haha...then we all ran out of the shop giggling like little schoolgirls.
back at the toilet...where more mayhem and hysterics await...... :
i cldnt get the stupid condom to unravel!!...haha it was kinda lame coz the stupid thing was stuck together...haha i nvr thought i'd be unravelling condoms till much later in my life...much later. but anw, it was fun! one pt i was seriously considering asking shawn to help me with it...coz he went to pee...so ya u can guess what i wanted him to do...heeee...:P. but in the end the thing unravelled..and i was like a proud father watching his son take his first step...hahahaaha...and so we still had to wash it...and the tap water filled the whole thing and it was bloated like an eggplant...only transparent. haha...and when shawn and i were having our rendezvous in the cubicle...we were making so much wierd noise and shawn(since he kept laughing and gesticulating), banged against the door a couple of times. so u can imagine what it must have looked/sounded liek frm outside the cubicle. I told my fren and he said 'u sound as if ure were having sex'. hahahahaha. and guess what??? the cleaning aunty came in at tt point! and she was so flustered abt the noise tt she asked us to keep quiet in malay!...rather angrily. hahaha...i was so embarassed coming out of the toilet with shawn, condom in hand, coz the indian aunty was there watching us....so we just bowed our heads...and got our butts out of the toiulet as fast as possible...trying to stifle our giggles...hahahaha...it was an experience!!!!...to gary and shawn..high^5 bros!!... :)!

I'll get them scanned asap, but it wouldnt be anytime soon cause i have no idea where to find a scanner.-___-" It's really a pity not to have a photo taken with everyone decked out with weird blazer-and-tie combinations! We left PGP quite abruptly and I guess I didnt get to say goodbye to all. -sigh- also didnt make it for the outing..so sad.. I was torn between going for the famine camp or join you guys for the outing. ( of cos I chose the camp--30 CIP hours, dont pray pray.. =x )But glad that you all had lotsa fun! Must definitely meet up again after the common tests ok? Miss you all sooooo much....Miss Shawn's Princess Pat, the murderer game, the "oh ah ah ah" cheer (e yum version),.........

jus wanna say that pre-u sem is still fresh in ma mind! although i have quite a great deal to do now what with PW and studies and practises, pre-u sem images are constantly playing at the back of my head like a powerpoint slide. haha...and yes the pics. dun worry i'm still gonna upload it but yeah not anytime soon k? i mean gimme a week or two...really busy now and a few stuff at home. Anyway.. jus a few hrs ago i was thinking 'man...PGP must be so quiet now.. no screaming or shouting..no people being thrown into the stupid water fountain.. no mad kids sitting around playing murderer for the umpteenth time!" haha..well must be a sad case for PGP cos i think we made that place livelier! and that auntie at the supermart must be missing us... cos we bought so much stuff from ther huh? =P=P

anyway...although i believe that the hype is still lingering..do we know if it will stay even after school reopens? but what i'm sure of is that at least our frenship keeps on going ya? =) i dun deny that u guys are one of the few ppl i met in my life who made an impact in sucha short time. I mean.. really it's healthy friendship. we share, we laugh, we giggle, we do stupid things together..haha all that fun. Anwyay was at a wedding yesterday and i was imagining maybe one of us gets married and invites eveybody. den shawn can start on princess pat and the guys can do the lion king song [heh] and what nots..hahaha okok i have a weird sense of imagination..

oh yes and the outting...hahaha you guys shud have been there. I was amazed at the guys cos of their lameness which actually sounded quite funny. they were like making fun of these signs some people wore which stated 'are u the diva?' and they were out to embarrass me by pointing at me and shouting "she is!". haha god! it was really wacky! and oh yeah... the announcement at kino. at first i purposely stayed away cos i was abt to die of laughter and also i was afraid xuan was gonna be pissed. but hey! haha...it was funny and shawn and i couldn control our laughter. oh well it was such fun and it was so sad i had to leave earlier. miss u guys...even if u all enjoyed talking abt cockroaches =)

Best Birthday Present Ever!!

Hey...! I finally managed to post something...hehe paiseh...im not exactly experienced with blogging. Yup, so anyway, as my maiden entry, i would like you all to know that pre-u sem was the best bday present i ever got in my 18 years of existence so far..!! You guys can only imagine my apprehension when last week on sunday when i had to go to nus on my birthday. I thought it was gonna suck. And guess what? My frens were looking through the groups and said that the acjc person in my grp was a guy...and said too bad it wasnt a girl..hehe...then i was thinking...damn!...But who cares now...Xuan is super cool...I also remember looking at the RJ guy and thinking "Not another snob". But Gary is nthng like that. In short, everything has been so splendid for me. I remember gloating to my frens when we returned that it was the most fantastic experience of my life. Thank you guys sooo much *muacks* :P!. hahahahahaha.
Actually my dad was in hospital with a severe case of dengue fever and i was feeling pretty shitty...but u guys made me forget all about it. Ps: he is fine now and fully recovered. Yay! You pple also made me forget i was in Yr2...imagine that..i felt as if i knew u for so long...thanx a bunch.. On a much happier note, lets go out again soon...perhaps to the water theme park or smthng? Oh and for chocolate lovers, i can bring u to this cool choc bar in the esplanade, "Max Brener's". Its cheap and way cool. Im trying to record my laughter and post it here so nyein square can be hear it and be jolly. Hey maybe shawn, shiva, huimin and me should produce a track wif our laughter and put it in the kewlfivers cd!!..Sounds grt yeah??...hehe...till later! Ciao my dear frens. NB: last week this time, we were jus recovering frm the euphoria of icebreakers and watching the gals and gary do a catwalk...hehehehe :P....

heya~! juz got back from the outing..came back earlier with Nabila..the rest prolly entertaining themselves at the roof of Lido playing "Murderer" as suggested by Shawn [who else right?? JK..=) ] erm.. only Pradip, Alvin, Shawn, Timothy, Xuan and William, and Nabila and i (Yoke) met up. Went TAka with the endless dosages of "Princess Pat(pls enlighten me with the correct spelling if this's not it), she lives in a tree...and ate KFC at the stairs..walked arnd and went to Kino.

WAt we did at Kino.. haha.. so FUNNY~! Coz Xuan was almost always MIA..so at Kino..when we kinda lost him again, we actually went to the counter guy at Kino to ask him to make an announcement to "announce" for Xuan to meet at the counter. DAmn funny!! haha.. my first time and others too i think. Nabila was saying that luckily we din say that he was a VS boy (he was wearing the VS uni)..haha.. and even luckier was that we din say he was a 17yr old ACSian. =) haha..

after that.. we walked to Lido and on our way..saw lots of RI bandits.LOLZ..In all, really enjoyed myself. Hopefully the others can join and meet up on another day(soon, i hope)..perhaps to mug together. Why not yeah? lol..we can play and study as well together.
